Last Weekend Recap

Top of the mornin' to ya!

Well i must say its been a productive past few days, the lazy bug did not get me and i can say i actually accomplished some things :: Yeah me! ::

Thursday i finally dug out my dead gardenia bush, and replaced it with a nice smelling jasmine and is more drought tolerant. I think i should of moved it over more a tad but once it starts growing im sure it will grow out and cover any gap spaces.

While i was aimlessly wandering Home Depot i can across a nice sprinkler head that you just turn on and it waters everything for you ( super convenient and i was sold on the idea of not standing around watering the day away ) so into my cart it went. I finally gave it a try and im impressed did what i wanted it to do and saved some time. Maybe ill be seeing green grass in no time! :: Keeps fingers crossed::

Since its officially been a tad over a year since i got my house it was time for a smoke detector battery replacement. Thankfully the Fiance was the do-er of this project i just got to follow her around with a fresh battery and take the old one from her. At least that dang beeping noise that tells you batteries are low in juice has stopped! AHHH!!! Man i wanted to rip out my hair with that dang BEEP!

Of course i cant leave out fathers day celebrations:

My mom decided to take my step dad out to a Dodger game since he loves baseball which means i get to bring out the face paints, colored hair spray, funky outfits and of course the Glitter!!! Woot!!

It was a night game, all you can eat pavilion section Los Angeles Dodgers VS Houston Astro's. Dodgers lost, frankly they sucked but i was there to enjoy the time with my family not enjoy the game.

Started off with face painting my sister Cassie entirely blue, ok not entirely but blue enough to look like an avatar character! Finished her off with some colored hair and glitter.

Then i moved onto my sister Breanna and gave her an L.A Mask:

Then my mom got some hair color and a small L.A on her face, and then a blue Mohawk for my step dad:

I must have eaten 100000 hot dogs, 565 bags of popcorn, 25 soda's, 9 nachos.. Im still stuffed!! 

This all ended with a nice dinner and a show for me and the honey, which turned into left over dodger dogs and peanuts followed by 3 hours of Lost and cuddling!

Overall weekend went very well and i had a blast! How was your weekend? Get anything done?

I always remember when i was in High School and we did these for fun so i thought for old time sake i would do one too :)

B. Bed size: Queen, Wish we had room for a king though. Maybe in our next home.

C. Chore you hate: Folding clothes & putting them away, seriously if they dont get folded they sit in a hamper waiting to worn or end up on the floor.

D. Dogs: I wish, though i believe this will happen sooner or later. The honey bear and I have been talking about adoption when the money is right.

E. Essential start to your day: Tie my hair up in a messy bun. Then Pee the day starts from there HEHE

F. Favorite color: Blue just is tranquil to me

H. Height: 5′ 6″ 3/4 (hey the 3/4 is important!)

I. Instruments: Um, not really. I can hit a few keys on the keyboard/piano.

O. Overnight hospital stays: None thankfully but been to way to many times

Hum though one, id think its when people do not use thier turning signal am i supposed to guess where the hell you want to go? ARGH!!

W. What makes you run late: Myself, always forget to grab something when i leave and have to go back in

Y. Yummy food you make: anything so i like to think, the honey swears im an amazing cook :)

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

Well its a cloudy day ahead which means no sunshine for this girl today, which truly means ill be in the house today doing house related things.

I must have a list of a gazillion projects i can do, yet always as soon as i get the list going i am overwhelmed by how many dang things they are to do. I don't know about you but i am one of those people who starts a project and then in the middle of that project start another project. Why?! Who knows i guess i am korky like that, a procrastinator perhaps? lazy? Who know, thankfully my fiance is my better half and always completes the things i never start.

So today i am going to tackle one big project and see how that goes, without attempting to do any additional projects around the house.

Now just to decide what project to actually do:

Finish the table numbers for the wedding

Organize the craft room and purge some items

Sit on my ass and watch some T.v ( Ops how did this get in there)

Finish Laundry and organize bedroom

Plant the gardenia's outside in the garden

Dust ( I never thought having hardwood floors would make the house so dang dusty, seems like a if there is a slight breeze dust seems to just travel in with it )

Never ending, Yada Yada list..

Guess well see tomorrow what end up happening, hopefully the lazy bug doesn't bite me today!

Mental note to self i think i need to start a task page/ Bucket list.

Hi there and welcome to my first post! 

Guess i should start off with telling you a bit about me:

• I am 23 years old, my birthday is on December 16th, a lucky nine days before Christmas. Lucky.. Not!

• I bought my first house with my fiance back in February 12th, 2010
• My so called craft room can take over the house at time (Ekk)

Ok maybe the last one was untrue! But hey don't we all wish we had super powers! I started this blog to just get out my feelings on my life's adventures whatever that may be for the day.
